CLARK V. STEWART

Mr. Stewart is the only attorney in the state of Alabama to have experience as a community corrections officer for the Alabama Department of Corrections. With this knowledge he has kept many clients out of prison by fully utilizing the Community Corrections Alternative Sentencing Program.

Clark is a columnist for Technolawyer, a nationally read series of columns regarding technology in the practice of law. Specializing in criminal law, Clark is a member of the Alabama Criminal Defense Lawyers Association where he sits on the Technology committee. In his spare time he authors a legal technology blog known nationwide as The Soul Practitioner.

Clark is a native of Gadsden, Alabama. He graduated from Gadsden High School, followed by the University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa in 2003, before obtaining his juris doctorate from Birmingham School of Law in 2007. He is married to Daphne Martin Stewart, of Glencoe, Alabama, and is the proud father of two boys, Ryan Andrew and Wyatt Evan, and a daughter, Amelia. He is a t-ball coach, and sits on the board of the Love Center homeless shelter in Gadsden. Clark and his wife, Daphne are members of Cathedral of Praise Church of God in West Gadsden, where they are the college and young adult ministry leaders.
